What We Do

We drive transformative growth in under-resourced communities.

At Community Redevelopment, we believe every community deserves to thrive. We work alongside local leaders to take critical projects from idea to reality—whether it’s a civic or sporting facility, childcare center, workforce training hub, housing, trail or tourism attraction. By connecting communities to the capital and expertise they need, we handle the heavy lifting—securing tax credits and grants, coordinating planning and construction, and navigating approvals. Our job is to remove barriers and keep projects moving so you can focus on your mission.

How It Works

We identify (or create!) opportunities

We start by listening. Whether a project is already on the table or still taking shape, we help identify viable opportunities, assess feasibility and clarify what’s possible based on community needs and resources.

We design a winning formula for execution

We build the right plan to move the project forward, aligning funding, partners and approvals. This includes identifying financial strategies, assembling the right team and creating a clear path from concept to execution.

We work until we succeed

Our interests are aligned with yours. We develop a fee structure and stay committed until the project succeeds, sharing risk and focusing on outcomes that deliver lasting value for the community.

A Trusted partner for communities across Indiana

Community Redevelopment works with local leaders across Indiana to turn community projects into reality. We help secure capital and expertise for childcare centers, workforce training hubs, housing, trails and tourism attractions, then manage planning, construction and approvals from start to finish. By finding tax credits, grants and loans and handling the logistics, we remove barriers so communities can focus on building places that serve residents and grow the local economy.

Community Redevelopment FAQ

What does Community Redevelopment do for Indiana communities?

Community Redevelopment helps under-resourced communities and mission-driven organizations move complex projects forward. We secure funding, align partners and provide the technical and strategic support needed to turn viable ideas into buildable, financeable projects.

What types of projects do you work on?

We focus on projects that create long-term community impact but are often hard to finance or launch. This includes job creation projects, workforce and career training centers, childcare and family services, housing, economic development initiatives and other catalytic community facilities. Click here to see some of our work.

Who do you typically work with?

Our partners include local governments, nonprofits, foundations, educational institutions, developers and mission-aligned businesses. We work best with leaders who have a clear vision for their community and need help navigating funding, complexity or execution.

How is Community Redevelopment different from a traditional developer or consultant?

We specialize in the hard parts. Our team brings deep experience in public finance, economic development, government relations and project execution, and we stay engaged through the full lifecycle of a project. We work alongside local leaders, not over them, and focus on outcomes that serve the community long after the project is complete.

When should a community or organization engage Community Redevelopment?

The earlier, the better. We are most effective when brought in at the idea or feasibility stage, before key decisions limit funding options or momentum. That said, we often step in mid-project to solve financing gaps, realign partnerships or help stalled projects move forward. Contact us at info@communityredevelopment.org.
